Early on in my career, I was at a bar watching Week 17 of the NFL, when my "Had a Bad Day" NFL commercial came on, and I saw a guy at the table next to me smiling and laughing. He wasn’t laughing to make me feel good or anything (he didn't even know I was there). He was laughing because he liked it. It resonated with him.

I never forgot that extremely simple moment, because from that point on, it's all I've ever wanted to do: Make fans feel something. An authentic connection to the brand.

I'm an award-winning creative director and writer with over 18 years of agency experience, the last 7 at Wieden & Kennedy. I'm also the biggest sports fan there is.

In July 2023, I left Wieden to “control my own destiny” and start my own sports-focused studio called Bulletin Board Material. And I’d love to work with you!

I live in New York City with my wife Alison, and my two sons Cole and Charlie. If you're looking to be intimidated, here's my Division III College Football picture.
